Ramadan 2016 Qur'an Memorisation Competition
The Islamic Foundation of Ireland is pleased to announce the Ramadan 1437 H. (Jun-Jul 2016) Qur’an competition for children and youth aged up to 25 years.
The competition consists of seven sections. A contestant can only compete in one section of the competition. Any person who took part in last year’s competition cannot contest in the same section, but in a higher one.
The last date for registration has been extended to Thursday 18th day of Ramadan 1437 / 23 June 2016. The tests will be held on Saturday 20 Ramadan corresponding to 25/06/2016 starting from after Dhuhr prayer. The application form is available for download here.
The sections and the age conditions are as follows:

2 | Juzu’ 29 & 30 of the Qur’an | For competitors aged up to 12 years |
3 | Juzu’ 28, 29 & 30 of the Qur’an. | For competitors aged up to 14 years |
4 | The Last 5 Juzu’ of the Qur’an | For competitors aged up to 18years |
5 | The Last 10 Juzu’ of the Qur’an | For competitors aged up to 25 years |
6 | The Last 15 Juzu’ of the Qur’an | For competitors aged up to 25 years |
7 | The Whole Qur’an | For competitors aged up to 25 years |
- Those who wish to take part in the competition must register their names. Application forms are available from the I.F.I. office. Any application that does not meet the conditions will not be considered.
- The last date for registration is 18 Ramadan 1437- 23/06/2016.
- The tests will be held on Saturday 20 Ramadan corresponding to 25/06/2016 starting from after Dhuhr prayer.
- The winners will be announced and the prizes distributed on Saturday 27 Ramadan corresponding to 02/07/2016.
